How Grappler.io brought their webinar and live event under on roof, with a single team covering multi-channel video production from start to finish.
Multi-channel video production for webinar & Product Roadshow
The Brief
We’re a New Zealand based company coming to Australia for our product roadshow. We needed a Sydney-based studio to produce our on-demand webinar while we were in town. We haven’t locked in a videography vendor yet for our product roadshow either, so we’re looking around for recommendations.
We can definitely help you out with a multi-channel delivery. We can run the webinar from our North Sydney studio and have our Video Producer come to your event to capture highlights and VoxPops after. So instead of managing two suppliers and briefing each one separately, you have one single point of contact and production that feels like one story from start to finish.
The Solution
So Grappler had two things to cover: an on-demand webinar for their audience to watch at their convenience, and a Sydney Product Roadshow where clients can hear directly from the team behind the product. Normally, that means two separate jobs: a studio for webinar production, and a video team for live event coverage. Then the tricky part that comes with that is having to brief twice to make sure the output looks and feels consistent – like one production instead of two. By working with Storytellers Australia, Grappler was able to bring it all under one roof. A single provider for both the webinar and the event, run as one Multi-Channel video production.
We filmed and hosted the webinar in our North Sydney studio, handled the full video and audio clean-up, then cut it into three social media clips with subtitles for LinkedIn, and on-demand viewing. For the roadshow, the same crew handled the event coverage. Capturing VoxPops, b-roll, and multiple camera angles throughout the night to turn into a three minute event highlight with synced audio, plus three more social reels for wider reach.
One brief, one team, one consistent edit style carried acrossevery piece of content.
The results
Instead of managing a studio, a video crew, and a couple of editors, Grappler.io was able to bring all of that into one house. This means one point of contact for the entire video production, webinar and event included.
Their team spent less time chasing suppliers and instead spent more time enjoying the night. A full suite of content covering both the webinar and the roadshow, built by one team from a single brief. The kind of multi-channel video production result that usually takes three different vendors to pull off.
And next time Grappler.io wants to bring in people who couldn’t be in the room where it happens, live streaming’s already on the table for storytellers australia..
Bring the idea we’ll handle the rest.
The studio’s set. The crew is primed. The channel? sorted. All that’s missing is your brief. Talk to Storytellers Australia about yours, and lets get it in front of the right audience.
The Feedback
I initially reached out to Storytellers simply looking for a podcast studio to record a webinar, but the relationship quickly grew from there. We ended up working with the team on everything from graphics, editing and social content to filming our Sydney product roadshow and capturing customer vox pops.
Tom and Arielle were fantastic to work with throughout, responsive, professional and knowledgeable, with really fast turnaround times. Most importantly, we were thrilled with the quality of the final content. I also loved the podcast studio itself. It’s a very cool set-up and made the whole recording experience feel polished and professional.
I wouldn’t hesitate to work with the Storytellers team again.
