Donncha Lynch is a leading sales consultant in Sydney with over 25 years of experience in the staffing and recruitment industry across Ireland and Australia. He approached us to rejuvenate his existing training brand and create a new website to showcase his various sales training models.
Elevate Your Sales Branding and Website Design
The Brief
Our brand and website are ready for an update. We need to make it more personal as I’ll be delivering the training and we don’t want to be seen as a large organisation. But we do want to be as polished as them.
Sounds great – let’s start by updating the existing colour scheme and logo, they feel a bit dated and don’t represent the personality of the brand. We’ll plan a structured and clear small site to clearly outline the different training models.
The Solution
The Old Logo
The original logo felt dated both in colour scheme and design. We did however love the “with Donncha Lynch” line – the personal touch really resonated with customers due to the 1 on 1 nature of the training.
The New Logo
We wanted to create a simple, versatile mark that subtly included double skyward facing chevrons to represent the rocketing sales! This element really started to make the brand feel good so we used it throughout the designs.
To oppose the gold and grey colour scheme of yore, we suggested this electrifying, energetic blue palette that felt fresh (think blue LEDs after all the red ones in the 80s and 90s!) and really suited the new logo. We felt that the dark greys really worked well with the highlight blues.
We wanted to capture the feeling of the modern entrepreneur, to connect with an audience through positive, representative photography. High contrast black and white became the theme to contrast the blue chevrons used throughout to represent business growth.
Icon Avatars
A strong message needs strong icons – but with a twist. We loved the strong black and white photographs so much, we made them into high fidelity avatars to represent key statements. As we build out the brand in future, these will start to have a life of their own by becoming animated, representative section avatars.
Animations
We really wanted a dynamic sense of movement throughout the whole site so we created these gentle bobbing animations on certain imagery through the service pages.
